The upcoming HTPC replacement media device, The Boxee Box is set to ship this November in the US and Canada. Now word on a local release as of yet.
The Boxee Box is a standalone set top device utilising the popular multiplatform Boxee HTPC frontend software. The hardware is being manufactured by D-link, offering an integrated solution to the usual PC driven front end media solutions. You can find the media release Here.
Earlier this week we got confirmation that the Boxee Box by D-Link will ship this November in US and Canada. We realize many of you have waited months to purchase the Boxee Box, and we know how frustrating this is.
